Unfortunately, it's not as simple as "Am I an apple or a pear?" You could be both. Or neither. No two people are the same, so I teach people what foods and supplements are best for them as individuals. I offer the following nutrition services to help people live their healthiest lives:

Nutrition Education: Generally speaking, if it needs a nutrition label, chances are it's not very nutritious. Once you know what food does to you, you'll make better decisions.

Weight Loss: Skinny jeans, fat jeans, good genes, bad genes… It's not as simple as calories in calories out. Different foods affect different people in different ways. Learn what foods will work with you to help you meet your goals. Gummy Bears! Gummy Bears! Gummy Bears! If you can't say no to cookies, ice cream, candy or carbs you have sugar problem. Unfortunately a "sweet tooth" doesn't make you sweet, it makes you a candidate for diabetes, heart disease and accelerated aging.

Hormone Balance: Has it felt like that time of the month for more than a year? Your birth control pills may be wreaking havoc with your natural hormone balance. Weight gain, mood swings and hot flashes are not an inevitable stage of life. Learn ways to balance your hormones by taking fewer pills and eating different foods.

Food Allergies: You don't have to have your throat swell shut or break out in hives to be allergic to something. What you love and crave the most may be the foods that are harming you the most. Headaches, joint pain and mood swings can be signs of food allergies.

Menu Plans: If your typical evening choices are drive through, order-in, take-out, or nuke it you need a serious meal-time overhaul. If you find yourself making bad diet decisions on the fly, a well thought out plan can make good habits easier to achieve. Learn what to eat and when to eat it.

Children's Nutrition: Sorry, moms. Fun fruits are neither fun nor fruit. And the smaller the person is the more affected they are by their diet. Sugar, artificial sweeteners, caffeine, and chemicals in our food are much more harmful to children than adults. I can help you know for certain if your kids are getting enough of the right nutrients.
